Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines the conditions under which customers may return products and request refunds. It complies with EU consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 2022 (Ireland).


2. Eligibility for Returns

Customers may return items under the following conditions:

2.1 Change of Mind (Cooling-Off Period)

  • Customers in the EU have 14 days from the date of delivery to cancel their order.

  • Products must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Custom-made, modified, or special-order items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

2.2 Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

A customer is entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if:

  • The product is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as expected.

  • The issue is reported within a reasonable period, typically 30 days from delivery.

Evidence such as photos or videos may be requested to assess the issue.


3. Return Process

3.1 Step-by-Step

  2. Receive a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).

  3. Return items to the provided address.

  4. Once inspected, refunds or replacements will be processed.

  • Change of mind: Customer pays return shipping.

  • Faulty/incorrect items: Maxflo Motorsport covers return shipping or provides a prepaid label.


4. Refunds

4.1 Conditions

Refunds are issued when:

  • Returned goods are received and inspected; or

  • A product is verified as faulty or incorrect.

4.2 Method

Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.
Processing time: 5–10 business days after approval, depending on the payment provider.

4.3 Deductions

Refunds may be reduced if:

  • The product shows signs of use or damage not caused by transport.

  • Packaging or accessories are missing.


5. Exclusions

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Used or installed products

  • Custom-built hoses, fittings, or made-to-order parts

  • Electrical items once installed

  • Clearance or final-sale products


6. Warranty

Most products include a standard 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise specified. Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover:

  • Misuse, incorrect installation, or racing damage

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Modifications or alterations
